When this is all over go behind closed doors and cry but while your with him helping him to deal with this say things like mama's here, it's okay baby your such a big boy. I just tried this with Word 2002, and I discovered that the limit is on the number of dictionaries Open at one time. Uncheck some so they're not open and they'll still be visible, but not used.

(And I tried using the Remove button and although it deleted the selected dictionary from the list, it left it intact in the Proof directory.)
